With a heavy heart we have to inform you about the sudden demise of Mrs Khorshed B Italia on 14 June 2010. She was indeed The Grand Lady of CP, 88 years old and very active till the very end.
Her presence, taking a walk around Connaught Place, feeding all the stray dogs, will be remembered by all the shopkeepers in ‘K’ Block as well as the other blocks, for a long, long time.
We salute you dear Khorshed Aunty!! May your soul rest in eternal peace.
We will pay our respects and humble homage to this beautiful lady on 15 June 2010 at 9.00 am at the Parsi Aramgah and then at 11.00 am at the Electric Crematorium at Lodi Road, where she wished to be cremated.
The Uthamna ceremony will take place on 16 June at 4.00 pm at the Parsi Aramgah. Update: Uthamna will take place at the Dar-e-Meher and Dharamshala complex on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg.
Our heartfelt condolences to Shernaz, her daughter, and to each and every one in her family and pray God gives them the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
