The Pravasi Bharati Divas is being celebrated in New York this Sunday, the 23rd of September 2007, by the Ministry of Overseas Indians - GoI, in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
The aim of the Pravasi Divas is to bring together people of Indian origin living and working across the world, and to leverage their India connection for mutual benefit, as well as set the context of the ‘the new India’ so that they can gain from it and vice-versa.
The occassion also provides an opportunity for Zoroastrian Parsi youth, entrepreneurs, and even established businesses to network and perhaps develop new Indo-US collaborations. The World Zoroastrian Chamber of Commerce provides a common platform for all Zoroastrians, and would clearly establish us as a unique value group, which can and does contribute greatly to India and the Indian community.
It is short notice, but all Zoroastrians interested in connecting up for the event in New York, should contact Dr. Zareen Karani Araoz, President of Managing Across Cultures, or contact us and we’ll put you in touch with her.
